Micro Beacons are ideal for use in shallow water environments or for operation in a confined space or for applications not requiring a high level of power output.
Micro Beacons, available with rechargeable (300 Series) or non-rechargeable (200 Series) battery packs , enable smaller targets to be tracked. Their slim profile makes them perfect for use by divers or attached to eyeball ROV’s, small sidescan towfish or for taut wire applications.
- 200 Series has easily available user-replacement 9v alkaline batteries
- 300 Series has rechargeable NiMH battery pack and can operate from a 24v ROV power supply with an external connector
- Compatible by default with Easytrak USBL systems as well as almost all other tracking systems operating worldwide
- Can be supplied with a remote transducer
