Job Title: Product Line Specialist – Marine Geophysics/Sub-bottom Profiling

Reporting to: Group Technical Manager

Due to business growth there is currently an exciting opportunity for a Product Line Specialist with expertise in Marine Geophysics and Sub-bottom Profiling to join our growing and dynamic team.

The role reports to the Group Technical Manager and requires a candidate who can be the driving force behind the technical evolution of the company’s extensive range of subsea geophysical survey products. The position involves the evaluation, design, trialling and testing of the next generation of products, along with the implementation and management of their progress into production. As a Product Specialist, there will be a requirement to offer support to the sales team and assist with post sales advice and technical support to customers, including the possibility of undertaking field demonstrations and conducting on-site and in-house training sessions.

Desired skills, knowledge and experience;

  •  Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject;
  •  Good communication skills;
  •  Observant, inquisitive and have an ability to solve problems;
  •  Previous experience in Marine Geophysics a distinct advantage;
  •  Good attention to detail;
  •  Ability to travel domestically and internationally;
  •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  •  IT literate, familiar with MS Office applications;
  •  High standard of written and spoken English and
  •  Self-motivated and customer focussed.

 

Job Title: Support Engineer – Marine Geophysics/Sub-bottom Profiling

Reporting to: Group Technical Manager

Due to business growth there is currently an exciting opportunity for a Support Engineer with expertise in Marine Geophysics and Sub-bottom Profiling to join our growing and dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be working within the service and support team on the maintenance of client owned sub-bottom profiling systems and developing knowledge on their applications. Some limited offshore time may be necessary, for trials, client training, demonstrations and product evaluations. There will also be the need to support colleagues with other equipment from time to time.

Desired skills, knowledge and experience;

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a relevant engineering subject;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Observant, inquisitive and have an ability to solve problems;
  • Previous experience in Marine Geophysics a distinct advantage;
  • Good attention to detail;
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally;
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team;
  • Participate in and out of hours support rota;
  • IT literate, familiar with MS Office applications and

Job title: Digital Marketing Executive

Reporting to: Sales Manager

To further expand recent growth, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our growing and dynamic team. This is a new role within the company and requires a candidate who is looking to progress their career in a role that will be integral to our ambitious growth plans, with the opportunity to travel domestically and overseas to support marketing campaigns and trade shows.

Main responsibilities:

  • Producing a range of digital content, including email and video marketing, SEO and social media content
  • Measuring and reporting performance of digital marketing campaigns, as well as experiments and conversion tests
  • Delivering digital marketing activity to budget and targeted number of conversions across all AAE Technologies Group companies
  • Driving the creation, implementation and delivery of the company’s overall marketing strategy, offering innovative suggestions
  • Increasing rankings with on-site and off-site SEO
  • Driving traffic to company websites
  • Carrying out competitor analysis
  • Evaluating end-to-end customer experience across various channels and touch points

The candidate:

  • An enthusiasm for producing digital content excellence
  • Strong working knowledge of analytics, social media platforms and SEO
  • Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload

Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent in marketing, and/ or proven relevant experience
  • Portfolio of marketing campaigns and/ or examples of digital content

  • UK Driving licence
